Mark Twain may well have said “Golf is a good walk spoiled”, however he never came to Horne Park Golf. If he had, this famous assessment may never have been made.

When you come to Horne Park Golf you will share the same experience as many other people - one of total surprise. Surprised that for a nine-hole course, it appeals to the beginner, the learner, the improver and the steady golfer.

Just a 10-minute drive from the M25, the 2718 yard beautifully maintained course is popular as both a nine, or as an 18 hole round. Situated between South Godstone and Smallfield the course has a history that our older members will be proud to extol. Part of the course was in fact an important ‘Battle of Britain’ airfield - RAF Horne. If you hit the ball high then, there was no penalty stroke for hitting a Spitfire!
